The 2021 Topps Opening Day Baseball set is considered suitable for a beginner in the world of sports card collecting just as the Big League Baseball product.
There are 220 cards in this year’s set which is an increase from the 200 card standard for the last few years.
The design is similar to the flagship Topps set except for a few things. On the front there is an Opening Day Logo and also has the normal Topps logo. The flagship Topps set has a 70th anniversary logo this year. On the back, of course the card numbers will probably be different (Fernando Tatis Jr is one player who has the same number since he is #1 in both sets) and next to the number it will say ‘Opening Day’ rather than ‘Series One’ etc.
This set does have short prints and inserts. Also, there are a limited number of autographs and relics.
